Educación Popular para la pos pandemia: construyendo los inéditos viables

El artículo pretende abordar los desafíos que presenta para la educación la crisis producida por la avanzada neoliberal y la posterior pandemia del Covid-19, con consecuencias aún imprevisibles para el futuro de América Latina y el Caribe. En este contexto se ha hecho aún más necesario disputar desde una concepción y una práctica de Educación Popular el modelo de sociedad al que aspiramos, fundamentados en una ética del cuidado de la vida y en políticas en beneficio de las mayorías, el momento histórico nos presenta una oportunidad para construir otra matriz cultural hegemónica, inspirada en la propuesta de Paulo Freire de construir "inéditos-viables".
Summary
The article aims to address the challenges for education presented by the crisis produced by the advanced neoliberal movement and the subsequent Covid-19 pandemic, with consequences that are still unpredictable for the future of Latin America and the Caribbean. In this context, it has become even more necessary to dispute from a conception and a practice of Popular Education the model of society to which we aspire, based on an ethics of caring for life and policies for the benefit of the majority, the historical moment presents us an opportunity to build another hegemonic cultural matrix, inspired by Paulo Freire's proposal to build "unpublished-viable".
