This article summarizes the activities carried out in the extension and community engagement project titled “Integrative Therapeutic Approach Plan” for professionals from the Viña del Mar Quillota Health Service and the Aconcagua Service (SSVQ and SSA, in Spanish), under the heading “Do Professionals Take Care of Themselves?”. The project was developed by professionals from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Playa Ancha in response to the pressures on health systems, exacerbated by the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, which affected healthcare professionals, leading to psychological problems and demotivation. This has posed challenges to the "Relational Triad," encompassing personal, professional, and community aspects. These issues have resulted in increased automation of services and reduced proximity to patients, which have weakened relationships among colleagues and impacted health workers' well-being. The project aimed to improve the quality of dynamics within the healthcare workers' Relational Triad, through an integrative health support plan. Additionally, it sought to promote discussion on alternative techniques among academics from the Faculty of Health Sciences. Social media dissemination activities were conducted, and conferences between students and teachers were organized to reflect on the self-expectations of healthcare staff. This contributed to breaking down prejudices against complementary techniques and reflecting on the self-imposed standards of healthcare professionals. The article also discusses the difficulties and limitations encountered during the execution of the project.
