The teaching of mathematics: an extension experience linked to research and teaching
Abstract
This article aims to report the development of an extension Project, thought as a possible way to integrate the teaching and research activities of the course named Algebra Applied to Economic Sciences, of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of Entre Ríos. An attempt was made to emphasize the importance of extension activities as meaningful spaces to the results of research work that, many times, are carried out in the strictly academic context and only attend to issues related to the curricular space in which one works. Besides, it was aimed to highlight the relevance of interacting with actors of the education system at a high school level, who carry out their activities in vulnerable situations, due to the characteristics of the area in which these institutions are located.
